Professor Averbuch is a world renowned expert in applied and computational harmonic analysis, Big Data processing and analysis, wavelets, signal/image processing and scientific computing. At the Tel Aviv University, Prof. Averbuch has supervised fourteen post-doctoral researchers, as well as more than 30 PhD students and hundreds of MSc students. Prior to joining ThetaRay, Prof. Averbuch was Research Staff Member with IBM’s TJ Watson Research Center in New York.

Having held senior positions with companies such as Verint Systems and I8, Shay possesses deep knowledge in Cyber Security, Big Data Analytics, SIGINT/COMINT Intelligence systems, Homeland Security (HLS), and Safe Cities. Ed has two decades of experience in running global software enterprise organisations and is an acknowledged market expert in financial crime, compliance and risk with specific domain expertise in the areas of anti-money laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC), customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD). Most recently, Ed served as President of Arachnys. Before Arachnys, he was CEO of Model N, a Silicon Valley-based, cloud software company delivery revenue management solutions to the world’s largest pharmaceutical firms. In addition, Ed spent five years at NICE Actimize as General Manager of its Anti-Money Laundering business. Ed holds a Masters of Science degree from Columbia University in the city of New York.

As EVP of Financial Services Solutions, James oversees strategy for ThetaRay’s financial services solutions and its financial crime analytics platform. James is a highly experienced Risk and Compliance expert with over 25 years’ experience working with customers and technology in this sector. He has held positions such as Chief Compliance Officer, Head Trader and Senior Operations Director for leading financial services companies. He has also served in senior leadership roles with prominent technology providers to the financial services industry including EVP Risk & Compliance at SunGard and Managing Director Global Compliance Solutions at Nice Actimize. James also served as Managing Director for Global Equities at Bear Sterns, where he was responsible for surveillance, supervision and mitigating regulatory exposure. James holds a BA in Business Administration from National University, San Diego, and is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Professional (CRCP) by FINRA/Wharton School of Business.

As Chief Customer Success Officer, Idan oversees all customer support and global delivery across the APAC, EMEA, & NASA regions. Idan joined ThetaRay from Matrix IFS, where he held the position of Chief Operations Officer and Executive Director of sales, partnerships, and delivery for the Americas. An expert in his field, he has vast experience in working in multiple companies such as BNP Paribas, Actimize LTD, and Zootec Innovations. Idan holds a BA in computer science from the Academic College of Tel Aviv, Yaffo.
A skilled finance executive, focused on fast-growing global high tech companies, in various stages of their life cycle. Prior to joining ThetaRay, Barak worked at the assurance business line of Ernst & Young Israel, with many high tech companies in the Big Data, internet and communications industries. Prior to his work in Ernst & Young, Barak served as a management consultant at Mashik, an Israeli management consultancy firm associated with AT Kearny. Barak is a certified CPA, and holds an MBA and BA in Accounting and economics (Cum Laude), from Tel Aviv University.

Moran recently joined ThetaRay as SVP Human Resources, where she is responsible for establishing company policies and preserving the ThetaRay culture. Moran has vast experience in the field of Human Resources, and her previous positions include VP Human Resources, Director, and Manager of Como. She also worked at Partner Communications Company and Adam Milo as a recruiter. Moran holds a B.A. in psychology from the University of Haifa, and an MBA in business administration from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.

Prior to joining ThetaRay, Asaf worked as CTO & Co-founder of Workcify, a SaaS Enterprise Software Startup. Asaf also held the position of Senior Director of R&D and site manager of Skyfence/Imperva/Forcepoint, a cybersecurity Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) startup that was acquired by Imperva and Forcepoint. Mr. Tzruya leads the JVP Cyber Labs. Prior to joining JVP, Yoav headed Altus Media Ltd., a venture capital consulting business for VCs, as well as digital media and content-related startups, including JVP portfolio companies. Previously, Yoav spent five years as General Manager, COO and CMO of Exent Technologies, an industry leader in the area of games on-demand. Prior to this he held multiple executive positions at TeleKnowledge. In addition to ThetaRay, Yoav is on the board of AnyClip, AE-Squared, UIU, Correlor, Wishi and CrossReader. Yoav holds an International Executive MBA from Kellogg/Northwestern and Tel Aviv universities, as well as an MSc in Computer Science (cum laude) and a BSc in Mathematics (cum laude) from Tel Aviv University.

Gadi is one of the two General Partners of JVP (Jerusalem Venture Partners). With his strong background in media-related software and internet based R&D organizations, Gadi oversees and leads JVP’s investments in the areas of media, web, gaming and applications. Gadi serves as a board member of Cyber-Ark, having orchestrated the most recent investment round by JVP, as well as Siano Mobile, Funtactix, ComQi and Playcast. Gadi’s track record in the digital media space has provided him with strong domain expertise in both the consumer infrastructure world and the needs of service providers. Prior to JVP, Gadi was Corporate VP of Product Marketing and a member of the executive committee of NDS, a leader in digital pay-TV systems, supporting some of the largest digital broadcast platforms such as DIRECTV, BSkyB, Canal Digital and more. In recent months it was announced that Cisco Systems acquired NDS for $5 bn. At NDS, Gadi established the business of digital interactive TV in the late 90s, catering to the likes of Sky Sports, MTV, Discovery, QVC and other leading TV channels. Prior to NDS, Gadi held a variety of positions in software and Internet-based R&D organizations, including Director of Product Marketing at ServiceSoft Corp. Gadi holds a BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics, as well as an Executive MBA, from the Hebrew University.
Prof. Coifman is a faculty member at Yale University and he is one of the world’s leading mathematicians, with over 35 years of research and teaching experience. His focus is on non-linear Fourier analysis, wavelet theory, numerical analysis and big data processing. Prof. Coifman was awarded the National Medal of Science by President Clinton and he is a member of DARPA’s Advisory Board and the National Academy of Sciences.
