About The Position

ThetaRay is the leading provider of AI-based Big Data analytics. We are dedicated to helping financial organizations combat financial cybercrimes like money laundering, fraud and ATM attacks, which are used to finance terrorism, narcotic and human trafficking, sex slavery and other malicious acts. Our IntuitiveAI solutions for AML, fraud and ATM security can detect malicious behavior months before existing rule-based and standard AI solutions can. IntuitiveAI replicates the decision-making capabilities of human intuition, one of the most accurate decision tools available. In so doing, it dramatically decreases the incidence of false positives, while increasing the number of true positives. We uncover the unknown unknowns.

We are looking for Director Commercial Affairs to join the Sales team covering the Nordic region and be a driving force the markets, partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities

*Develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets and partner with customers to deeply understand and satisfy their business needs.

*Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Financial market and customers focus and requirements

*Leads creation, first customers engagements

*End to end sales cycle accounts management

*Collaborate with Marketing, Product, R&D and Customer Success to develop a sustainable “value proposition” to drive sales results

*Educate customers about the company’s solution and added value

*Monitor customer and competitor activity and provide feedback to the leadership team

*Close deals and ‘get things done’

*Occasionally assist marketing teams on required collateral, marketing activities and launches

*Position ThetaRay, its products and services in the marketplace vis-a-vis competitors, with customers and partners

*Travel commitment- approximately 30% of time

Requirements

Experience in selling SW solutions to the finance industry (mostly banking), to enterprises and to C-level interactions (dealing mainly with Chief Risk Officers,

Chief Compliance Officers and COOs) in the area 

            -Directing customer engagements

            -Managing local agents

            -Managing channels (VAR, partners)

*Experience in one or more of the following fields: financial crime solutions, fraud detection, Big Data analytics, security/compliance solutions

*Proven experience in successfully managing all sales cycle, meeting /exceeding targets, plus strong selling and closing abilities

*Prior early stage companies experience- advantage

*Personal characteristics: Business driven, initiator, with excellent communications skills, results driven, Independent, reliable, sharp, creative, hard worker,   highly organized, open minded, fast learner, do-more/must-win approach

*Must be hands-on, self-disciplined with strong integrity

*BSc in Computer Engineering disciplines / statistics/any other relevant background. MBA- advantage
